By the community, for the community.

The Alderney Community Sports Centre is a community swimming pool and gym being built in the grounds of
St Anne's School on the little Channel Island of Alderney.

The shell of the building has been completed thanks to to the amazing support of the community, sponsors and the
States of Alderney. The ACSC plans are now being finalised with help from the States of Alderney.

We are still very dependent on the community support to help us get open and value your continued support.

MARCH 2019. Swimming pool supporters will be wondering why the community pool is taking such an age to complete.

The current situation remains that Trustees have approached the States of Alderney to further assist with the completion of the facility. Before SofA can make any funding decisions they have needed to carry out due diligence surveys and to check our up-to-date business plans. As a final part of this reassessment, SofA commissioned the Guernsey based engineering group  WT Partnership to undertake a full survey of the building and it is this final survey report which has caused us to discuss again with contractors...The discussions are on going.

As soon as we have further news and we can move forward we will let you know.
